Four people charged after New Jersey gas stations raided

New Jersey residents convicted of drug crimes face harsh consequences. Even so, an accusation is not the same as a conviction. Several New Jersey residents will now have to prepare a strong defense after a police investigation resulted in arrests for alleged drug offenses at several gas stations.Four people have been arrested after Woodbridge police say they received an anonymous tip that local gas stations were selling a drug known as synthetic marijuana. This drug became a controlled substance in the state in October. The police department apparently set up surveillance on two stations in the area.

New Jersey man faces criminal charges after daughter's death

A 27-year-old New Jersey father is facing serious criminal charges after police claim he was involved in the death of his 2-year-old daughter.According to police, the man was arrested in San Diego, California on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving in connection with the child's death. The infant was found in a New Jersey river after having been with the man for a court-approved visitation on Nov. 21.

Father charged in alleged drunk driving accident returning to NJ

A 9-year-old girl has been critically injured in an alleged drunk driving accident. The girl's father, a New Jersey man, has been charged with reckless endangerment and two counts of aggravated DWI in New York. He is being charged under Leandra's Law, which makes it an automatic felony in New York for a drunk driving first offense with a person 15 years or younger in the vehicle.Authorities say that the girl's father was driving from Staten Island toward the Outerbridge Crossing on the West Shore Expressway. The man apparently missed the exit and continued toward a nearby park-and-ride. The car crashed through a guard rail and flipped over, taking down a lamp post and several street signs.

Young man requires criminal defense after allegedly drunk driving

A report of an arrest highlighted a "wild ride" that a 23-year-old suspect lead authorities on recently. The incident took place in Milville, New Jersey, and the young man is now being held in the Cumberland County Jail as he waits to put together a criminal defense.

Multiple raids lead to drug charges against several NJ residents

Law enforcement officials in Mercer County, New Jersey are cracking down on drugs. In one day, they made multiple arrests at multiple locations. Those arrested are now facing drug charges which could, if they are convicted, lead to some serious jail time and/or hefty fines.
